There are signs that do not cheat with what they mean : less that one year after the first commercial flight on an asian airline of the A380 and his more than 500 people in it, a naughty esquimo volcano spread into our skies enough ashes to forbid any kind of civil passengers aircraft desserving their usual destination. Thousand of people got blocked down in airports from Beijing to the other side of the Pacific ocean. And then a BP offshore platform sunk 1500m under Mexican gulf far away from New-Orleans and Mississipi states and made the biggest black tide ever seen since manhood has understood than those dark commodities could be used to propulse cars, planes, and to warm houses, produce electricity, etc.
That’s the way Gatsby said years ago and nobody else reacts 
Just like if it was just equal to all of us that tomorrows planet destiny would be to be doomed forever and our children’s only chance of survey would pass through leaving earth and find somewhere else in the immensity of the universe a new planet where to establish themselves and look for a better way of living without destroying day after day their homeplaces and natural lands.
The question is all but a small one. 40 years after Armstrong’s first steps on the moon, everything still happens as if none of our leaders had made it clear enough for their staff that the only issue to solve during the coming years was “how shall we strive to keep out of this lethal attitude and find the way back on the path of equity, not equities, justice, not Justice, peace, not only looking for it and leaving thousands of babies and children under the everyday threat of starving to death and loosing their parents beacause of war here and of sida or other diseases there.”
That’s the way Gatsby said and I know it ain’t so easy to make it but I know also that we’re not exactly on the tracks by now with all those talks about Greek debt, European currency running the risk to fall very low within the next two or three years if the new derivative markets keep on being stronger than the physical markets and also if China’s awakening makes it impossible for other civilisations in the world to get enough money and enough raw materials to keep on their ways.
